چکیده

To create a highly efficient photovoltaic-thermal (PV-T) system and maximise the energy exergy efficiency, this study aims to propose an innovative configuration of PV-T comprising wavy tubes with twisted-tape inserts. Following validation numerical model, parametric has been conducted assess geometrical effects twisted tape tubes, as well coolant fluid type velocity, on overall performance system, located in Shiraz, Iran. It is found that employing improves efficiency by approx. 6.3%. The best yields 12.4% 16.8% increase compared conventional PV systems. This achieved at 15% volumetric concentration microencapsulated phase change material slurry. monthly variation global horizontal irradiance Shiraz affected PV-T, July October exhibiting most months, corresponding 90% 11.3%, respectively.

A Parametric Study on Exergy and Exergoeconomic Analysis of a Diesel Engine based Combined Heat and Power System

This paper presents exergy and exergoeconomic analysis and parametric study of a Diesel engine based Combined Heat and Power (CHP) system that produces 277 kW of electricity and 282 kW of heat. For this purpose, the CHP system is first thermodynamically analyzed through energy and exergy. Then cost balances and auxiliary equations are applied to subsystems. The exergoeconomic analysis is based ...

Exergy Analysis of a Novel Combined System Consisting of a Gas Turbine, an Organic Rankine Cycle and an Absorption Chiller to Produce Power, Heat and Cold

The current work investigates the exergy analysis of a new system to generate power, heat, and refrigeration. In the proposed system, the heat loss of a gas turbine (GT) is first recovered by a Heat Recovery Steam Generator (HRSD), then by an Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) to generate warm water and additional power, respectively. In the ORC, reheating is used to increase the output power, the req...
